Is OXYLYTHE a concentrate?

Yes, OXYLYTHE is a ready concentrate which should be used undiluted.

What should be considered when using OXYLYTHE?

OXYLYTHE should not be used in dispenser and spray systems with metallic components, as this can lead to corrosion and impaired effectiveness.

OXYLYTHE can also be used with nebulizers as a cold mist for disinfecting and sanitizing rooms, containers, and other containers such as silos.

Does OXYLYTHE have side effects?

OXYLYTHE has no known side effects.

What registration does OXYLYTHE have?

OXYLYTHE is registered according to the Biocide Reporting Ordinance in conjunction with the EU BIOZID Regulation 528/2012 for the product types (PT) 1–5 as well as 11 and 12. The BIOZID product includes, in particular, an application as:

  • Hand disinfectant
  • Surface disinfectant
  • Protective agents in cooling and processing systems
  • Slime control agents

NOTE: the old registration number N-86880 is NO longer valid and has been replaced by registration number N-91591

OXYLYTHE is registered with the BAuA as a BIOZID product under the register no. N-91591.

OXYLYTHE complies with the current drinking water regulation § 11.

OXYLYTHE is manufactured on ISO 9001 certified machines.

A pharmaceutical central number (PZN) identifies pharmaceuticals and pharmacy products. A PZN is not necessary because OXYLYTHE does not require medication and is therefore not subject to the Medicines Act. 

Which germs does OXYLYTHE destroy?

OXYLYTHE is effective against 99.9% of all known germs, viruses, fungi, and bacteria. Due to the mode of action, germs of all kinds cannot form any resistance to OXYLYTHE.

Why does OXYLYTHE smell of chlorine?

The manufacturing process creates sodium hypochlorite, which has a slight smell of chlorine. However, this is harmless. 

Where else can OXYLYTHE be used?

OXYLYTHE is a universal broadband disinfectant. In addition to human and veterinary use, OXYLYTHE can also be used in drinking water disinfection, in the treatment of surfaces of all kinds, as well as in the nebulization of rooms, containers, surfaces or containers. OXYLYTHE can also be used as a protective agent in cooling and processing systems and as a slime control agent.

Admixture of other substances

The admixture of other substances (e.g. fragrances) is not permitted and leads to impairment of the effectiveness of the product.
